This project focuses on documenting the effects a tornado had on East Nashville. To see the city you’ve grown up in suffer from a natural disaster, you begin to notice small aspects representing the area that show evidence of a greater thing. I chose to document moments of these damage, pairing them with high attention to colors in order to provoke meaning. Throughout these images, evidence of damage are shown with an emphasis on how the surroundings are changing in response to these effects as well as an absence on the area caused by the Corona Virus pandemic.
